Frequently Asked Questions

Prepare for your next business trip with guidance from our experienced travel advisors.

Do I need a passport?

  • Everyone, including infants, must carry a valid passport book when leaving the United States. Generally, it’s recommended your passport be valid for 6 months after your return travel date.

What travel and packing restrictions should I be aware of?

  • People with DUI convictions may not be allowed entry into Canada.
  • Prescriptions and other medications must be in their original labeled bottles.
  • All carry-on liquids must be 3 ounces or less.
  • For additional travel and packaging restrictions, go to www.tsa.gov.

When should I confirm my flight time?

  • We recommend you re-confirm your flight departure time at least 24 hours prior to each travel date. Airlines can and do have last minute schedule changes, which could cause a missed flight.

When should I arrive at the airport?

  • Arrive at the airport with plenty of time to check in, get your boarding pass, clear security, and get to your gate. We suggest you arrive at the airport 2 to 3 hours prior to departure.

What should I do before leaving for my trip?

  • Inform your personal and corporate credit card companies and banks of the dates and locations you are visiting to avoid your activity being flagged as fraudulent. Be aware of any international fees your banks and credit cards may charge for purchases or ATM withdrawals. Hotels and resorts will ask for a credit card upon check-in for incidentals you may charge to the room.
  • Call your corporate and/or personal cell phone providers to arrange international data, text, and long-distance calling packages.

What should I pack for my trip?

  • Lower denomination currency is helpful for tipping and shopping. Be aware of any international fees your banks and credit cards may charge for purchases or ATM withdrawals.
  • All essentials and valuables (such as cameras, medications, jewelry, and extra clothing) should be packed in your carry-on luggage.
  • It’s a good idea to make photocopies of passports and visas. Leave a copy at home and save one in your email.
